Marketing Your Books

I just created an author page at Since marketing isn’t something that comes naturally for me, I thought I would share this with everyone who is searching for more marketing options. I’m looking forward to seeing how much having this page helps. If you already have an Author’s Den page, please let me know how it is working for you.

Books, Marketing, and Writing

Finding Home: Brian’s Journey is now available in paperback where ever book are sold and is on a limited e-book release through for $2.99. I am trying a new marketing strategy with them and hopefully, it will lead to increased sales. And that of course means more readers! Which is what I believe most writers want.

I think most authors would love to have their names at the top of the NYT Bestseller List, but even more than that, we like hearing from those who are reading our books and enjoying them. It has been the most encouraging and humbling to hear someone say, “Loved your book” or “I related so much to your story”. This is a humbling reward. In reality, readers are making a connection with you and letting you know they invited you into their home. It makes me smile to think that someone has chosen my books to curl up with before they go to sleep at night, or maybe pulled my book out while they were on vacation next to a pool. I thank each and every reader for the privilege, the honor of you choosing my love stories.

Currently, I am working on Book 4. Obviously, it is longing for a title, but that hasn’t surfaced yet. Sometimes, it comes naturally and quickly. Other times, I settle on two or three titles and end up having a contest on Facebook for my readers to vote on. I do this with my covers as well. My last two book covers were chosen by Facebook friends/fans. And I must say, they did a fabulous job. It has been my pleasure to give books away to those who voted. I’m excited to see what they select for Book 4. 🙂

Book 4 is going to be different from my other novels. It will be lighter on the love story and more on action-drama. It is still in the beginning stages, but my heroine will be an Army soldier who is recruited by the CIA. I like the idea of having a female as the soldier. Thus far, in Torn Hearts, Calling Me Home and Finding Home: Brian’s Journey all the soldiers have been males. This is going to be a wonderful way to give tribute to our female soldiers and I’m looking forward to it!

If you want to keep up with my latest happenings and contest, simply friend me on Facebook. I look forward to hearing from you!
